The ‘Utrecht University Social Entrepreneurship Initiative’

Social Entrepreneurship Initiative

The ‘Utrecht University Social Entrepreneurship Initiative’ combines all knowledge that is available at Utrecht University regarding Social Entrepreneurship. The initiative resorts under the Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance.

WHAT DO WE ADVOCATE?

The objective of the Social Entrepreneurship Initiative is to facilitate and to stimulateeducation and research in the area of Social Entrepreneurship. By combining the knowledge available within the University with the expertise and knowledge of external parties, opportunities within both education and research are enhanced.

The basis is a multidisciplinary approach to problems. Researchers from various faculties of Utrecht University are therefore involved in the Social Entrepreneurship Initiative. The commitment of our alumnus Sjoerd Kamerbeek (lawyer at the law firm of Van Doorne and the winner of the Nudge Leadership Challenge) was influential in founding the Social Entrepreneurship Initiative.
